In April 2024, the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation's remembrance and democracy project The Return of the Names sent a strong signal in Munich's city center: sponsors commemorated the fate of 1,000 Munich residents who were murdered by the National Socialists with plaques. The Dachau exhibition continues this project. There will be an event to accompany the exhibition on March 1.
