A house full of stories of the Dachau region
The District Museum, which was awarded the Bavarian Museum Prize in 1993, presents the cultural history of the town of Dachau and the district. On three floors you will find numerous exhibits which impressively illustrate settlement forms and town history, guild and market law, crafts and trade, everyday history and festival customs, religious folklore and much more.
In addition to the permanent exhibition, special exhibitions are shown regularly.
