Classical music - at a world-class level, as close as never before and without much etiquette. This is what the „mittendrin“ concert series stands for. In 2026, „mittendrin“ will once again bring top-class music directly to you in the neighborhood: in the „Kunstwerke Dachau“, the studio of artist Richard Wurm, internationally renowned musicians will play surrounded by inspiring works of art - and you can be right in the middle of it all. You rarely get as close to artists and their music as here: not only during the concert, but also during the breaks and afterwards. „New(er) listening“ - that's the theme of the twelfth evening of music and art in the „mittendrin“ series: music that you may never have heard before, alongside works that you may know, but which you will experience in a completely new way here. This time, the two musical directors Georg Arzberger (clarinet) and Julian Riem (piano) have the world-renowned cellist Wen-Sinn Yang as their guest. Whether on the world's great stages, at famous festivals or as an influential professor - he is always on the lookout for the new and unknown, which makes him one of the most versatile cellists of our time. The program includes works by Louise Farrenc, Heinrich Hofmann, Phyllis Tate and Ludwig van Beethoven. „Neu(es) Hören“ - Concert II of the series „mittendrin“ Who?
