Fresh, witty, and playful—such was the zest for life in the 1920s in Paris and New York. Swinging jazz, variety shows, and silent films shaped these pulsating metropolises. The Arcis Saxophone Quartet and Dachau multi-percussionist Christian Benning bring this big-city charm to life with the saxophone, drums, an atmospheric light installation, and a Charlie Chaplin silent film. They were awarded the Westphalian Music Prize for this innovative program.
