The Dachau Artists' Association (KVD) - one of the last artists' associations in Bavaria. It emerged at the beginning of the twentieth century from what was then the Dachau artists' colony. The KVD has its own gallery in which 10 exhibitions are held each year, including one members' exhibition.
The KVD was recently added to the Bavarian Intangible Cultural Heritage list, a high honor and recognition of the work from the time of the artists' colony to the present day.
