Long Night of Open Doors 2026: Discovering Art in Dachau

On Friday, September 18, 2026, Dachau will once again become a meeting place for art enthusiasts: The „Long Night of Open Doors“ invites visitors to discover the city's diverse art scene during a nocturnal tour. More than 30 galleries, studios, museums, and workshops will open their doors from 7 p.m. to midnight, providing insights into their work.

Since 2007, the Förderverein Dachauer Wasserturm e. V. has been organizing the „Long Night of Open Doors“. Traditionally, the art event takes place on the first Friday after the summer holidays.

More than 30 stations: Experience art up close in Dachau

The „Long Night“ offers a comprehensive insight and overview of the Dachau art scene. Visitors can explore galleries and studios, meet artists, and discover various forms of contemporary and regional art.

Numerous supporting programs make the evening much more than a classic gallery tour.
