Too big, too long, too thin, too wobbly, too grey, too slow, too clumsy! Why am I different from everyone else? The little duckling is out of luck. Everywhere it bumps into things, it doesn't fit in anywhere, and yes, ugly it is anyway. And so the duckling stumbles from one unpleasant situation into the next. Along the way, it encounters loneliness, exclusion, rejection, and more than a little cruelty. But then something starts to dawn on it. Where on earth did that wing come from? Puppet theater (almost) without words, freely adapted from H.C. Andersen's „The Ugly Duckling“.
